Comte de Montaigne: champagne Ambassador


I am utterly proud to announce my new committment as Champagne Brand Ambassador of the historical French Maison Comte de Montaigne.

Based in Celles-sur-Ource, close by Troyes, Aube, in the southern part of Champagne region, Comte de Montaigne is a Premium maison, producing high-end bottles of unparallel Brut, Rosé and Blanc de Blancs


I am honored to have been its guest visiting the Domaine in France, where I could personally meet Mr Stéphane Revol, CEO of the winery and be witness of the production.


Dating its roots back to the Crusades age, Comte de Montaigne delivers premium bottles of prestigious champagne, devoting its whole production to the achievement of 3 main values: Taste, Complexity and Elegance. 
Extreme care and thourough attention to details begin at the early stages of grapes cultivation.

La Perla 65th Anniversary celebrating pastry by Dalloyau



The worldwide famous French pastry home Dalloyau is celebrating the 65th Anniversary of glamorous, elegant fine Italian lingerie La Perla with a new innovative selection of special sweets.

More than 300 years ago Charles Dalloyau was awarded Royal Chef by King Louis XIV in France and his talented generation brought the famous brand to be largely distributed worldwide.




The celebration cake to mark the 65th anniversary of La Perla features a white-peach-flavoured mousse enriched with pear puree and embelled by Poir Williams eau de vie.

Final top decoration: a rose lace fondant and pearl frosting to recall La Perla brand's trademarks.

Interview to prominent Head Sommelier in Hong Kong

Summer is always a good period to enjoy fine dining and taste new wines. That is why I took advantage of the latest days in Hong Kong of the prominent Head Sommelier of Otto e Mezzo restaurant - before his relocation to Bangkok - to go and meet him, in order to better understand secrets and hints of his outstanding job in town. 





For those who don't know, Otto e Mezzo is the only Italian restaurant outside Italy being awarded 3 Michelin stars! It is run by Chef Umberto Bombana and until two months ago, it was coordinated by GM and Head Sommelier Mr Marino Braccu.

High-tea @Tiffany's



Useless to say that the very first post of my blog would have been devoted to my once in a lifetime experience: free-flow tasting at the Blue Box Cafe by Tiffany's in Hong Kong. 
It is only the second one to be opened in the world - after the one on 5th Avenue, of course - and it's the very first in Asia. 

My husband and I were among the lucky selected ones to attend this gorgeous premiere, whereby we were entitled to taste and try the legendary tea-set, the Tiffany-tini cocktail, the Shine like a Diamond drink and a few other delectables. 

Tiffany's already got a few shops in Hong Kong , but the Blue Box Cafe' is going to be connected to the very new flagship store in the glamorous One Peking Road, heart of Tsim Sha Tsui - same level as 5th Avenue in NY. 

Its official opening will be October, 13th, while we were kindly invited by October, 8th already! Such a treat for a Holly Golightly wannabe ever since!

Quite a luxurious exclusive sneak peak to have been invited to this glorious tasting and we were absolutely thrilled at the idea of taking part to it. 



All tableware is the official one, specifically manufactured in Japan for Asian Cafes and it was so impacting to be served on such worldfamous Tiffany's blue teacups! 

High-tea set was abundant for two people , with a good selection of both salty and sweeties. 
A trio of jams accompanied the service and everything was perfectly coordinated by the Cafe' staff, who were always ready to replenish cups, glasses or plates. 



On top of everything, a very special gift was given to us, when leaving the Cafe' and it was a precious giftbox to carry on the way home while still dreaming of the legendary Brakfast at Tiffany's unforgettable movie!
